[Remote] DEVOPS engineer w splunk, US Citizens only w TS Clearance

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. A New Beginning-Genesis 2 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their high performing cyber team in support of a large SOC enterprise environment. The role involves the design, deployment, and operations of DevSecOps infrastructure tools, alongside managing Linux-based servers and using scripting for problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design, deployment, testing, certification, operations, patching, addressing interoperability issues, of DevSecOps infrastructure tools, including all operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies.
• Responsible for the primary Operations and Maintenance workforce multiple tools.
• Deploys and configures services using infrastructure as a service provider.
• Configures and manages Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website.
• Debugs cluster-based computing architectures.
• Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems.
• Installs and manages open-source monitoring tools.

Skills

• Current/Active Top Secret Clearance is required & be willing to sit for a CI Poly
• Requires BS or BA degree
• 5 years overall experience in the areas of DevOps tasking
• Experience with Linux based environment administration
• Experience testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering infrastructure hardware and software for cybersecurity.
• Experience developing, creating, modifying, and maintaining computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs for cybersecurity.
• Having the following tools experience and/or certifications: Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate
• Experience integrating third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks
• Experience with Splunk, Oracle/SQL based platforms, and python
