About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced frontend developer to join our team. In this role, you'll collaborate with designers, backend developers, and project managers to bring custom websites and web apps to life. You’ll work on a variety of projects, from marketing sites to full-scale applications, using modern tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Convert design mockups into responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect HTML/CSS/JavaScript
• Build dynamic user interfaces and single-page applications using Vue.js and/or React
• Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch (no page builders)
• Build and maintain custom WordPress plugins for client-specific functionality
• Work with the WordPress REST API to build decoupled or headless features
• Integrate with third-party APIs and services (e.g., CRM, analytics, e-commerce, maps)
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and project managers
• Participate in code reviews and improve internal development standards

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS (SASS/SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong experience with Vue.js or React
• Deep understanding of modern WordPress development, including:
• Custom theme development
• Creating and maintaining custom plugins
• WP REST API
• Custom post types and taxonomies
• Comfortable working with Git version control
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration

Bonus Points

• Experience with React Native
• WordPress security, caching, and performance optimization
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or utility-first frameworks
• Experience working in an agency or client-facing role
