Superintendent – Perimeter Security, Fencing

Job Description

• Coordinate and direct daily project activities to ensure schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Ensure that daily and weekly activities align with the project plan
• Maintain high levels of communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Develop procurement plans
• Supervise and coordinate activities within the project site using Crew Supervision
• Provide project status updates
• Adapt to changing conditions quickly and develop safe, efficient work plans
• Ensure the Quality Control Plan is set up for the project and enforce quality standards
• Maintain accurate daily reports, production reports, and other required reports

Requirements

• Minimum of five years’ experience in the construction industry
• Minimum of three years of experience in onsite supervision
• Ability to read construction drawings
• Ability to sequence work based upon available design documents
• Strong understanding of general construction processes on commercial and industrial projects
• Good understanding of the installation of fencing and perimeter security structures including anti-climb, anti-dig, and/or crash-rated fencing, gates, turnstiles, bollards, and other various security structures
• Ability to monitor construction schedules and advise on potential setbacks or issues
• Communicates well both verbally and in writing
