DevOps Engineer

This company is looking for an engineer with a blend of DevOps and software development experience, particularly those comfortable working across infrastructure and automation. You'll play a key role in enhancing CI/CD pipelines, improving observability, and automating operations in a Kubernetes-based environment.

The company is located in Midtown Manhattan, NYC and requires 3-4 days on-site a week.

What You Will Be Doing

• Automate infrastructure tasks and improve monitoring and deployment pipelines
• Refactor and modernize legacy systems
• Maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Write automation scripts using Python or Bash
• Analyze logs using CloudTrail and CloudWatch

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Cloud: AWS (GCP experience also welcome)
• Orchestration: Kubernetes
• IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, CloudTrail, CloudWatch
• Scripting & Coding: Python, Bash; bonus for TypeScript, Node.js, or Golang
• Ability to read and understand code logic is essential
• Hands-on experience in startup or fast-paced environments is desired
• Strong communicator who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional teams
• Bonus: Experience with DLC or cloud-native development platforms
