Summary

Seeking a hands-on Lead Technical Automation Tester with a 50/50 blend of Database/ETL testing and Application Test Automation. This role requires strong technical depth, the ability to build and guide automation strategy, and excellent communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA efforts across multiple projects, driving test strategy, planning, and execution.
• Perform ETL and database testing using ClearSearch, Informatica, and SQL.
• Validate and reconcile large datasets; write and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Design, develop, and maintain UI/API automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub/Jenkins/Azure DevOps etc.).
• Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and ensure automation best practices are followed.

Required Skills

Database / ETL Testing (50%)

• Strong ETL testing background.
• Experience with ClearSearch and Informatica.
• Advanced SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning.

Application Automation (50%)

• Hands-on automation with Playwright (UI + API).
• Experience setting up automation frameworks from scratch.
• CI/CD integration experience (any tool).

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and leadership.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple technical and business teams.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
