Zachary Piper Solutions is in search of a highly skilled and motivated mid-to-senior level Software Developer to join a growing company based in Chantilly, VA on a primarily REMOTE basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing, maintaining, and testing microservices built on the MEAN stack and must have an active U.S. government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities of the Software Developer include:

Design, develop, maintain, test, and document high-quality software solutions.
Tackle complex technical challenges with innovative solutions.
Stay abreast of and apply new technologies to enhance our software offerings.
Manage and maintain corporate software libraries efficiently.
Promptly review, diagnose, and fix defects and problems as assigned.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide expert advice on application design and usage.
Communicate complex technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Mentor peers and contribute to the growth of the technical team.
Demonstrate strong teamwork, effective communication, quick learning, problem-solving, and professionalism.

Qualifications for the Software Developer include:

3-7 years of experience in designing and developing web-based solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Proficiency with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular/AngularJS, Node.js).
Experience in developing RESTful web services.
Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance

Compensation for the Software Developer include

Salary Range: $120,000-$145,000/year **depending on experience**

Remote flexible structure (optional onsite 1x per month for team bonding)
